Nancy Drew Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake Review

Today is Funday Sunday and that means its time for another Nancy Drew review!  Today I'm going to be reviewing Nancy Drew Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.  This game was originally released back in November 2002.  This was one of my many favorite Nancy Drew games because of just the location being in the forest away from the city.  So let's started!
Ghost Dog of Moon Lake: Sally's House

Hunt for Clues on the Trail of a Pack of Phantom Hounds!

You, as Nancy Drew, must pick up the cold trail left by a notorious gangster who once lived in the lakeside cabin recently purchased by Nancy’s friend. Are the ghostly legends true, or is there a flesh and blood answer to the dogs’ haunting howls? Decipher cryptic puzzles, search through shadowy wood, creepy old houses, interview suspicious characters, and dodge danger to sniff out the truth behind local legends to solve the mystery in Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.

Gameplay
Out of all of the older games, I think that this game probably took the longest time to complete.  To be honest I'm not complaining as I love it when a game takes time to complete since I get to spend so much time playing the game.  However, I will admit that spending time getting lost in the forest was getting a little much since I can never remember what way is what.  Overall there was os much to explore and investigate and I had so much fun trying to find everything.

Graphics
Of course the graphics of the game are lovely and I could not be happier that they went with the design style.  I always remember when I just wanted to relax that I would install this game and basically wander around the forest listening to the calming music in game and the wildlife that was present.  The birds chirping, the crickets, all of it was just so calming.  I honestly would love to spend a weekend up at moon lake relaxing with a good book.

Puzzles
While playing this game it wasn't super puzzle heavy as it was more of task heavy as you were asked to complete specific things to move forward in the game.  Though there was some puzzles you were able to solve such as the safe.  I found that this game was more focus on task that each suspect asked you to complete.

Game on Windows 10 and Mac Bootcamp
This game has aged very well as it works not only great on PC, but it also works wonderfully on Mac!  But wait this game wasn't made for Mac's which is correct.  However by using Bootcamp I have been able to enjoy playing this game and continue to play it.  So don't be afraid to taking the chance to play this game on your Mac using a third party Windows 10 program as it still works!  Theres always a chance that things might not always work, however, you can contact Her Interactive if you run into any issues.

Thanks for reading everyone.  I love playing this game and I cannot wait to play it again.  If you looking for more games to play then check out my Game Reviews page as it hold all the links to my reviews!  If you want to get the game for yourself then you can get your copy on Her Interactive or on Steam.

Until next time,
