My name is Jordan and welcome to my lovely little corner of the world! My Flourishing Retrospect is a blog dedicated to my love for video games.
When I first created this blog, I wanted to share my opinion on video games and just talk about the games that I love. Which led me to creating my blog and the pen name Jordan. Over time, my blog has gone through three name changes with the first two names being Games Review (2014-2015) and Retrospect Reviews (2015-2017), before finally finding a name that not only linked me back to my previous name but meant more to me, which is how I came up with My Flourishing Retrospect.
When you look up the word retrospect, it means a "review of or meditation on past events." This word represents exactly what my blog is to me and how I want it to feel when I look back at the games I'm reviewing or other posts.
I first got into blogging as a way to share my love of Nancy Drew games, which was the first game series that got me into gaming, as well as other point and click adventure games. Over time, my blog has expanded to what it is today where I share my love for all the different styled games I have played over the years!
My blog focuses on mainly on writing *non-spoiling* game reviews, keeping up to date with the Nancy Drew video game series, and more recently fun chit chat post relating to anything gaming!
Back in 2021, I forced to change over my blog link due to an highly confusing block on Facebook, though my blog has never been on Facebook. With this weird circumstance I decide to shorten my blog link and start over on a fresh page! Along with that I also began streaming more over on my shared Twitch page with my twin Daniella (LittleBookSpy)
