After about a month from the last Twitter poll, I can now share with you all my newest Sims 4 build! The winner with half of the vote was the Cottage! This had to be one of cutes cottages I’ve built in a while. To make it feel more like a cottage I decided against any technology such as computers and tv’s so that you could just immerse yourself in the cute home. I just love how this little cottage turned out and I had such a fun time building it. So lets get into exploring it!
Front of the House
I wanted to try and keep the front of the house simple and cute. Unlike most cottages, I decided to use more of a modern paneling not he outside. In a way it reminds me of a modern cottage by the sea that I had seen a long time ago. I also used a few pumpkins because of the autumn theme I decided to decorate the house in. If you want to find the any of the pumpkin CC I used then you can find them here in my autumn CC post.
Entry Hall
When designing the entry hall, I decided to keep it as simple as possible. And of course I decided to use more pumpkins to decorate. I find that these really brighten up the room and makes it cute and cozy.
Kitchen/Dinning Room
Now because the house is so small the dinning room and kitchen are one and the same. Now because the kitchens have this lovely baby blue and white wood I though it would be a good idea to go with a grey and white cabinet. For the dinning room table I decided to decorate it as if it was set for a meal and only waiting for the houses occupants to return.
Family Room
Now this has to be one of my favorite sections in this house. The family room just seems like the best place to curl up with a good book as you watch the sun set or listen to the rain. I just love the colors that contrast to the wall paper. The dark colored furniture, with the dark bookshelf and the red, creme, and orange colors.
Bedroom
While trying to decorate this room I still wanted to keep a modern aspect to it but still give it more of a county side feeling. By using more of darker colors for the walling and the furniture, it seemed to just draw the room together making it look cozy.
Thank you all for reading! I hope you all enjoyed my second Sims 4 build. Sorry about taking so long to post this. I had already schedules most of my post in advance and it made it hard to change my schedule. I hope to run another poll soon to see what I should build next. If you have any ideas then please comment, I would love to hear them. I hope to have another Sims 4 build go up in January 2019, so please give me suggestions of what I could build.
Until next time,
I honestly had no idea you could do so much on Sims! I've never played before and it looks like so much fun! I feel if I started playing it would end up taking all my spare time away, it seems like a game I could become easily addicted to!
