Nancy Drew Last Train To Bluemoon Canyon Review

Out of all the Nancy Drew games I always seem to go back and replay just a handful of games.  Last Train To Bluemoon Canyon is one of a handful of games that I just love to play.  I thought it would be fun to reviews this game next!  Last Train to Bluemoon Canyon is the 13th game in the Nancy Drew series by Her Interactive was was released on September 15th, 2005.  So let's get started!

Last Train to Bluemoon Canyon: Camilla's Car in the Caboose

Storyline
I loved the storyline in this game.  Personally I consider the game to focus on a sad love story for Camilla and Jake Hurley.  As you explore the train and the history behind why it was built, you cannot tell me that Jake Hurly life which was encompassed in this train that you don't feel pity for the man and how what seemed to be a happy life went down hill.  I love learning about their love story and all the other things Jake Hurley did for his wife.

Puzzles
I loved solving the puzzles in this game.  Many of the puzzles in my opinion were super simple and easy to solve.  The puzzles in this game are logic based and fairly simple to solve.  There are a few difficult puzzles in the game but once you understand how to solve it then its fairly simple.  I will admit that the second to last puzzle in this game has to be the most challenging, you are required to remove wooden planks with the correct symbols in the correct order otherwise you have to restart the puzzle.

Last Train to Bluemoon Canyon: The Train and Copper Gorge Map

World/Graphics
When ever I played this game I always loved exploring all the locations in the game.  You not only got to explore six of the main train compartments, but you also were able to to the cemetery, museum and back kitchen in Copper Gorge, as well as the mine where Jake Hurley found his riches!  I loved exploring all the locations in the game and it was so much fun looking at all the tiny details in the game.  However, I do wish that we were able to explore the bedrooms in the sleeping car and not just walk by them.  The sleuth in me just want to snoop though everyones stuff and find all the hidden secrets that they might be hiding in their rooms!

Thank you everyone for reading!  I love playing Last Train To Bluemoon Canyon and I cannot wait to play it again.  If you want to see more of my Nancy Drew related posts, check out all my Nancy Drew posts!  Also check out my other Game Reviews for new recommendations of games that I have played.  You can get the game over on Steam or at Her Interactive with a free strategy guide.
