Dordogne: A Breathtaking Water Color Adventure Game For PC and Switch

Dordogne has to be one of the most beautiful games I have seen this year! Dordogne, created by French indie game studio is a narrative adventure as you explore Mimi's childhood. The game was created using 2D a water color design. After looking at all the photos and videos that have been share of this game I am supper excited for it and I cannot wait for the release. So let get stared!

Dordogne: Mimi At the River
The story follows Mimi, a young woman who is visiting the home of her recently passed grandmother.  Mimi's grandmother left her letter and puzzles to solve.  So Mimi sets off to revisit the her childhood memories and reconnect with the little girl who marveled at everything.  The game features a wholesome family story while exploring the beautiful Dordogne region.

Dordogne: Mimi Taking a Polaroid
As you solve puzzles and mysteries to progress the story, in the present as a adult and in the past as a child, all while crafting Mimi's journal with picture, sounds, and objects that Mimi collect.  Allowing your own creativity to flow as you build Mimi's journal, which holds a high sentimental value to reflect on Mimi's adventures and memories of Dordogne, and the connection she holds with her grandmother.

Dordogne: Present Mimi
Dordogne is made in Bordeaux (France) by Un Je Ne Sais Quoi, a French indie studio led by Cannes Award-winning animation director Cedric Babouche, and co-produced by UMANIMATION, an XR animation production company founded by Aymeric Castaing, known for the Arte series Globozone.

Dordogne has a projected released date of 2021.  Everything about this game sounds absolutely amazing.  I love the how pretty the water color design is.  It just seems to bring so much life into the game and I cannot wait to explore Mimi's story and life in Dordogne!

Thank you everyone for reading.  If you want to add Dordogne on your wishlist then you can find it on Steam and soon Nintendo Switch.  So what do you think of Dordogne?  I would love to know in the comments below.
