Monthly Wrap Up: January 2022

It's the end of the month and I can't believe how fast everything has been going. Over the last couple of weeks, I've been streaming, working on my Instagram photos, and working on a secret project which was just revealed! This month has been a whirl wind and I feel like there's just so much to do. Which is also another reason why my blog has been super quiet. I haven't had very much time to write any review or posts but I'm here now and hopefully I can figure out a schedule to do a little bit of writing. So let's get started!

This month I have played more games that I think I've played in forever!  Normally I've been playing about 4 to 5 games max but this month I managed to get a good 11 games in!  Which is also not normal for me.  Though I will admit the Nancy Drew games were replay, I had a ton of fun with how much gaming I was able to do this month.

When it comes to the amount of Assassin's Creed I've played this much, its probably been less that a few hours as I worked more on clearing land, gathering treasures and what not.  Up thats right, instead of trying to finish the main storylines in both Valhalla (my first play through) and Black Flag (my second play through) I've been spending my time just exploring the land and trying to get all the extra side achievements.

With the Lunar New Year event in DBD, I've just spend a majority of my time trying to earn the awards.  This with event I've also been trying out the new beta test feature which has been super fun, however I'm not sure if I like the new wiggle feature in the game or not.  Still on the fence about it.

Along with this I've also been playing a ton of other multiplayer games with Daniella in our free time and on streaming!  This month we managed to get a few hours of Garden Paws, Clue, and Stardew Valley in our off time.  However, we also streamed some Clue which was so much fun!

Though Daniella and I didn't get very far in Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, we have had a ton of fun learning the new mechanics of the game.  Though I will admit that in this game both Daniella and I have gotten a little lost since we seem to keep missing key points of information or just not holding the right piece of evidence....

Looking back, I'm amazed that I've played 6 different Nancy Drew games this month!  But then for at least 4 of the games were streamed!  Yup thats right, Daniella and I streamed 5 Nancy Drew games this month with Daniella.  The only one that wasn't streamed was Message in a Haunted Mansion which I played in my spare time for a competition.  Which was a ton of fun!  The amount of ND games I've played this month has been so much fun.  I look forward to writing the reviews for these games here in the future.

This month Daniella and I announced our secret project!  After 8 months of planing, working behind the scenes I can finally annocunce that Daniella and I will be opening up our very own Etsy shop, The Sweetest Books!  To start off we will be selling handmade bookmarks designed after video games and books!  To get us started we will be released our first set of Nancy Drew themed bookmarks.  If anyone if interested you can head over to our stores Instagram @SweetestBooks where you can see our lates designs and such.  Our store opening on February 14th, 2022 and we cannot wait to share with you what we've created!

Until next time,
