Autumn Home Style

Its finally September and I’m done with summer and want one of the best seasons of the year, autumn. If you’ve been following me on Twitter, then you know for a fact that it has been super-hot where I live, and I’m just done with the heat.  But sadly, season cannot change at the snap of your fingers or by using a Sims 4 Weather Machine.  However, I’m going to change that by making my home more feel more like autumn and I though why not share how I’m going to achieve that.

1.  Eucalyptus Plants
Whenever I think of autumn, one of the first smells that comes to mind it Eucalyptus.  For me, you can basically find it anywhere.  It not only smells good, but it can very decorative too.  You can buy either plastic ones that have the spray on them, take essential oils with a mixture of water using a spray bottle to use as an air freshener, or you can buy real ones.  You should be able to find fake eucalyptus at any store craft section or at a crafts store. For real ones, you’re going to have to look to see where there sold in your area.

2.  Fake Flowers
Fake flowers are one of the greatest’s things in the world.  You can reuse them every year and they don’t require any maintenance real flowers need.  Other than the occasional dusting, you can have picture perfect flowers all autumn long.

3.  Pumpkin Vases
After pulling out my fake autumn themed flowers this year to hold some of the eucalyptus, I realized I had no vase to put the flowers in.

4.  Autumn Decorations
Every year I end up buying more autumn themed decorations.  This year I bought 3 little hanging ornament one of a bear, squirrel, and a fox.  They each have their very own message, Welcome Friends, Give Thanks, and Happy Harvest. They are all so cute, getting little wooden signs with autumn colors are some of the best things.

5.  Autumn Themed Candles
This is one of the most important parts to making your house to be autumn, are candles.  If you're into pumpkin spice or apple cinnamon, this will make you house smell like autumn all day long.  My personal favorite is having a pine smelling candle since it reminds me of autumn.

Thank you all for reading.  I hope you this inspired you when it comes to making your house feel like autumn.  If you want more autumn themed post, then please let me know and I will write more for this month.

Until next time,

  2. My favorite are autumn themed / scented candles. Apple and/or pumpkin caramel-scented stuff makes me excited for fall.
