Were on game number 3 of my love for murder Agatha Christie game review marathon! For todays game we are looking at Agatha Christie Evil Under The Sun. The game was the final game released by The Adventure Company. Evil Under The Sun was released on October 16, 2007, with a release Wii version being released on November 19, 2008. I think this is the only Agatha Christie game that I've played multiple times due to never finishing the game due to the game breaking. So let's get started!

Graphics
After looking at all three of the Agatha Christie games from The Adventure Company, the final game is one of the best designed one. The beautiful scenery looking cheery and inviting while there is a hint of evil in the air on the quiet Seadrift Island. I will also admit that the design is very familiar to the island And Then There Were None. Though the island are not identical, the layouts are very similar. Then there's also the second island you get to explore in this game called Leathercombe Bay.Evil Under The Sun: The Evening Before the Murder Scene |
Storyline
With any of Agatha Christie's stories, this one held a romantic tale to it and I loved it! It was know that the access Arlene was a flirt and was seen the the game flirting with the other male characters and admired she enjoyed it. I think thats what made the story so interesting as you look at all the characters on who could be the killer. The jealous husband, suitor, other women, the possibilities are endless on who the killer could be.
Puzzles
The gameplay was so much fun. I just loved solving all the simple puzzles in the game. Before the crime is committed, you are tasked with exploring the island and give a helping hand to the other characters to try and earn favors form them for helping them with this or that. I will admit in my first play through that I did not complete all the helping tasks to get favors with led to my down fall in the game. Due to not completing everything in the order that needed to be done kept me from finishing the game and resulted in me starting over and following the walkthrough all most to the end of the game.Thank you everyone for reading! I've had so much fun playing this game as it is another favorite of mine. If you haven't yet, check out my other Agatha Christie Game Reviews. So what do you think of the Agatha Christie games? I would love to know down below. Sadly, it hard to get a copy of the game since it is no longer produced. If you are lucky then you might find a package deal of And Then There Were None, Murder On The Orient Express, and Evil Under The Sun in the Agatha Christie Triple Murder Pack.
Until next time,
