Monthly Wrap Up: April 2021

Wait no!  April come back!  Well it seems time decided to fly by again without my permission and it just seems to be a super fun and chaotic month.  Especially with my college classes ending on the last day of April.  But I'm just happy to be done for a little bit before my final two classes starting later this month.  This month has been an absolute blast since I've been able to do so much this month.  However, I think it's now time to share what I've been up to and what games I played last month.  So let's get started!

I'm surprised at the amount of games I was able to play last month.  With my college classes for the Spring semester ending on the 30th, I was able to play quite a few games.  This month I was able to get a ton done in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.  I was able to move forward in the main storyline a bit and I was able to purchase all the items in the Ostara Festival   I will admit though it was super difficult to collect all the money that I need to buy everything in the event.  This was also my first event since I missed out on the Yule Tide Festival during Christmas.

This month I also played a ton of Clue on my iPad with some friend.  It was the perfect way to just sit on the couch and play a cute and fun murder mystery game.  However, we all kept getting beaten by the bots in the game on easy...  I was also able to play some Garden Paws with Daniella as well.  We're pretty happy with our set up on our farm however, I'm getting frustrated with the design and think its time for an upgrade, which means that I get to have fun trying to reorganizing everything.

I'm also super happy that I was able to finish playing The Haunting of Castle Malloy in my Nancy Drew Battle Challenge!  Sadly I was not the winner this time (*Stupidly forgets to check what awards I didn't complete.*). But I guess it means that I must pick up the pace and win another game.  The next game that was picked was Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice.  Which I'm super excited to play this month, hopefully I will get the chance to finish the game before my final summer classes start later in May.

Daniella and I have been really into the Sherlock Holmes games last month.  We first started to play Sherlock Holmes Versus Jack the Ripper earlier this month after finishing Sherlock Holmes Nemesis in March the only thing I can think of about this game is wow.  This game was nothing like what we had expected and because of that I new I just had to write my own review on the game.  You can check out my Sherlock Holmes Versus Jack the Ripper Review on May 14th, 2021.  My post goes into what I consider the clean version of what the game is about and my thoughts on how Frogwares did with the game, so I hope you will check it out next week!

Right now, Daniella and I have moved on to Sherlock Holmes The Awakened.  The game is technically first game in the Sherlock Holmes series which focused more on the cannon version of Sherlock Holmes.  Overall I'm excited to play this game and see what its about and so far it’s just as creepy as Sherlock Holmes Versus Jack The Ripper.

Last month I was also working on updating my sim for a new profile picture!  It’s been a few years since I updated mine and I think it’s finally time for a change.  However, it first needed to get all the CC that I want my sim to wear and use for decoration and it was almost impossible to find a simple blouse or any clothing for my sim.  It’s worse than shopping in real life.  But now I have a super cute sim that looks absolutely adorable for my new profile picture!

But other than that its been a pretty chill month even with classes ending.  I somehow managed to get quite a few of them done early which gave me time to relax, play some games, and knit!  Yes, I'm a knitter which it has been so much fun to learn.  I just started back up again and hopefully I will finally finish my 62 inch blanket!  I have about 24 inches left and hopefully I have enough yarn to finish it without having to rush to the store.  I've been working on it for almost a year as I started my knitting project back in June 2020 so hopefully everything goes to plan.

Thank you everyone for reading!  I'm having so much fun writing these posts and sharing all the games that I've been play with everyone.  Though I wasn't able to play too many games this month, I still had a ton of fun with what time off I did get.  So what games did you play this month?  Anything fun?

Until next time,
