How To Install Sherlock Holmes Collection on Windows 10

After I finished playing Sherlock Holmes The Mystery of the Persian Carpet, I decided that the next game that I was going to play was Sherlock Holmes Nemesis or formally known as Sherlock Holmes Versus Arsène Lupin!  I bought this game for the second time on Steam after being unable to play the original disc version due to their being glitches on the disc.  When I went to play the game it didn't work and for a while I couldn't figure out why until I did some research on what was possibly causing the issue.  Which took me forever to find so, I though it would be a great idea to write a post on how to install the Sherlock Holmes Collection games that you can get on steam.  So let's get started!

If you're playing the game on Steam or any other download service then you shouldn't not have to worry too much about when it comes to installing the game as this help make the installation very easy.   If you're playing the older version of the game, be warned that there could be possible glitches in the game and as far as I know there are no update patches available.  This guide is to help those who are installing from Steam (Like me) or GOG.

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, Nemesis, Jack the Ripper freezes on game menu?
Well if this happens to you it could automatically mean that you do not have the NVIDIA PhysX System Software installed.  This was the one drive that I did not have on my Mac BootCamp computer.  The simple fix to that would be to go to NVIDIA website and install the drive NVIDIA PhysX System Software.  Once you've download, installed the drive, and have restart your computer and you should be able to play the game without any issues as long as your computer meets the game requirements.

After installing the game and the drive you still can't open the game.
Well if you have a newer gaming mouse it might cause it a problem.  Right now I just use a basic Logitech mouse (Logitech Full Size Wireless Mouse) that you can get at Walmart for like $15 dollars so its not too expensive.  So I would highly recommend switching your mouse out to a more basic mouse if you've already installed the NDIDIA drive and are still having issues.

Hopefully now that you've done this you now have a working Sherlock Holmes game!  If you are still having issued I would highly recommend reaching out on the Steam community page of the game.

Thank you everyone for reading!  I hope this help when you go to play these three games!  I know that I would have loved to of found out this helpful tip when I first went to play the games starting back in the beginning of 2021.  So after reading this, which Sherlock Holmes game are you playing?  I would love to know down in the comments below.  If you want to see more of my Sherlock Holmes related posts, check out all my Sherlock Holmes posts!  If you want look for similar game recommendations, you can also check out my Games Review page.
