Monthly Wrap Up March 2021

What day is it... *Look at calendar*... Oh my goodness how has time flowed by so quickly! Its felt like that March just barley started and now it's April! Well at least I kept track of all the games that I've played this month and oh boy did I have a fun month!  So let's get started.

This last month has honestly just flow by and I can't seem to keep track of all the things that I've done. March held some of the most exciting and also terrifying activities I think I have ever done which is releasing my first set of gamestagram photos for Nancy Drew featuring Secret of the Old Clock, Creature of Kapu Cave, and The Haunting of Castle Malloy!

I had so much fun taking these photos and I am so happy with the response that I received from them.  My response was so positive that with my trying to keep up with it, Instagram lock my account for liking to many post/commenting!  I find this more amusing than I should but oh well.  Well I found it more amusing for the first week until it just became annoying since I couldn't get it to unlock for anything.  However, I finally figured out the best way to get it to unlock!  Which was try a little bit of everything I read online.  So I might write a post about what happened and go into detail of what steps I took to fix it, though it isn't full proof, something in it worked.  Also, Instagram forced me to remove my blog link from my page which I think is what allowed me to get my account to work again.  I also have no idea when I can put it back in.

My account was locked on March 14th and it was locked until March 25nd, which was kind of annoying since I had planned on posting my St. Patrick's Day photo on the 17th and I couldn't post a caption until everything was unlocked.  But for those that still went and liked my photo and commented on it though my caption was a little bare, I want to say thank you so very much!

I'm already planing to take more photos and I have already started to create a backlog of Nancy Drew photos so I can share them sparingly over the next few weeks. With this, I also would love to know what games you would like to see next as I'm in the planing stages what I could create for each game.  I was asked about adding 50 drumsticks for Treasure in the Royal, so we will see what I come up with!

This month I'm amazed with how many games that I was able to play.  I was able to sit back down and finally start back up my Nancy Drew Battle Challenge since I can finally play again and this month we were able to play Legend of the Crystal Skull and The Haunting of Castle Malloy!  I was also able to have fun a play Secret of the Old Clock for one of my fun art theme college classes which I needed to take a picture of a character in the game.  Which in the end led me to playing almost the whole game in one sitting!

What I really enjoyed was being able to go back and replay Sherlock Holmes Nemesis since I was never able to finish the when I originally owned the disc version many years ago.  Daniella and I decided that as we work though a lot of the games we own that we would go and play them together.  I really enjoyed playing it again and I cannot wait to write my review on it!  The next game that both Daniella and I chose to play was Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper.  I could have sworn that we had played this game before but with the 2 hour we pout into the game already we don't recognize it at all.  But I know one thing for sure, we're really enjoying it so far.

I was also lucky enough to get the chance to sit down and play a bit more of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Vampyr, and The Sinking City.  I'm trying really hard to try and work on the main storyline but right now I want to explore the festival before in ends in April.  I wasn't able to really play Vampyr for every long since I had a few things come up that distracted me and I kind of forgot the controls on PC but I'm determined to play it!  I also just started playing The Sinking City and you could say I'm completely lost.  That could be because one of my two kitties decided to chew on one of my St. Patricks Day decorations so I definitely need to go back and watch the intro again.  I cannot wait to explore these games more and hopefully I can write my reviews for all of these games soon.

Thank you everyone for reading!  So how was your month so far and what games did you play last month?  I would love to know down in the comments below.  Hopefully next month goes a little smoother.  Since I have college classes ending next month posting will be very sporadic and challenging since I will be prepping for my final assignments.

Until next time,
