Of Bird and Cage Review

Out of all the combinations that a game could possibly have, a story driven game entwined with metal music has to be one of the most ingenious creations I think I have ever seen!  I have been wait to play this game since I first heard about the game about two years and I could not wait to play Of Bird and Cage.  Of Bird and Cage is a metal driven storyline game focusing on following the butterfly affect for the choices you make for Gitta Barbot.  The game was developed by Capricia Productions and Published by All in! Games and was released on May 20th, 2021.  I want to thank All in! Games for this amazing opportunity they gave me to play and review this game.  So let's get started!

Of Bird and Cage Demo Review

I am a huge fan of heavy metal music and I'm always on the look out for new music to listen too.  About 2 years ago now, I came across the heavy metal video game Of Bird and Cage.  This project featured artist from some of my most favorite metal bands (Epica, Within Temptation, ex-Kamelot, & ex-Evanescence and more). I knew with out a doubt I need to play this game.  This week, I was notified that the demo was released and I immediately played it and since I finished I knew I needed to write a review on it.  Of Bird and Cage is set to release on May 20th, 2021.  So let get started!

Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask Prologue Review

Over the last few months, I've been searching for new games to play. During this search, I stumbled upon the fun #AdventureGamesFriday hashtag over on Twitter where indie developers share their new and upcoming games with each other. This is where I found, Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask, a point and click horror adventure game created by Red Martyr Entertainment.

Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask is the prologue story for the game Saint Kotar. The prologue was released on June 18th, 2020 with the full game, Saint Kotar, to be released on October 28th, 2021. The minute I saw this game, I knew I had to play it for myself!  I want to thank Red Martyr Entertainment for giving me the opportunity to play an early release copy of the prologue. Backbone Prologue Game Review

I love playing Noir detective styled games with all the questions, the intrigue, and the overall mystery of the case you're trying to solve.  When I first came across Backbone I knew that I needed to add it to my gaming list.  At the moment the game isn't full released, however, the developers over at EggNut did share the free demo with everyone so that we can see what the game is all about.  So let's get started!

Bunny Park Game Review

I love finding new indie games and Bunny Park has to be one of the cutest games I have seen this year!  Bunny Park is a cute building simulator where you get the chance to build your very own bunny filled park!  I first saw this game over on Twitter and ever since then I was excited for it be released.  Bunny Park was released on January 14th, 2020 and I want to thank Éloïse Laroche, the developer of the game, for giving me the opportunity to play this game.  So let's get started!

Favorite Video Games Of the Decade

It's not only the end of the year, but its also the end of the decade and I can't believe time has flown by so fast. 2010 honestly feels like yesterday to me and I just can't believe so much time has gone by. However, over the last 10 years, the gaming industry has released so many games that have truly affected my life during this 10-year period.

So for today's second to last post of the year, I'm going to be sharing with you my favorite games that I've played over the last 10 years. It doesn't matter if the game was released during the last ten years or 20 years ago, I'm choosing to focus on the games that I began playing during this time. I'm choosing to list this in alphabetical order so that it makes it just a little bit easier for me to keep track. So let's get started!

Is The Zork Remake Legal?

On the 5th of July, I wrote a review about the demo release of Zork 1 Remake.  A game that is basically a 3D version of the original classic 1980 game created by Activision.  Now Zork is getting a indie remake.  I did not put this in my original post, but I started thinking about the original copyright of the game, and I was wondering about how it would affect the publishing of the game.  Well in today's post I'm kind of going to go over a bit of what it would take to get not only this game published but the legal aspect of the game and what could happen if the game gets copyrighted.

Garden Paws Review

I don’t think I’ve every played such a cute game in my entire life!  When it comes to Garden Paws, this is one of the cutest farming simulators I have ever played.  The game, created by Bitten Toast Games Inc. focuses on you inheriting your grandparents farm, as they set off to travel the world.  You, as the player, work with Frank at the local construction shop to finish the final touches on your new home.  You can then aid Frank and the Mayor in building up the town and all of the potential it holds.  So let's get started!

Zork Remake Demo Review

While looking at the Steam summer sale, I decided to go and look up a few older games that I loved when I was younger.  The game that I decided to look up first was the Zork Anthology.  As I already have all the games with the graphic, I decided to take a look the text adventure game again and consider adding it to my collection.  However, what I found instead had me jumping for joy.
